Nurse Assoc/us Peds
Short Description
Assists the Registered Nurse in providing direct, indirect,and non-patient care responsibilities. Responsible for the collection of laboratory specimens and performing EKG's. Performs clerical support for the patient care unit. Contributes to quality patient care by serving as a significant memberof the health care team. Assumes responsibility for recordkeeping, intra-departmental and interdepartmental Communications, written and electronic medical record keeping.
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Acute Care experience preferred previous hospital experience.
Additional unit-specifications may be required.
MST (Multi Skilled Technician) training, or enrollment in an accredited Nursing program, or certified nurse's aide training preferred.
CNA Certification preferred or currently enrolled in an accredited Nursing program.
American Heart Association CPR Certified.

Scheduled Days / Hours:
(.9) nights with rotation to days as needed by the department. 7P-7:
