The position of Treatment Assistant shall report to the treatment coordinator or assistant director. The successful applicant will be part of the treatment team. You will perform both a treatment function emphasizing accountability established through the funding source and according to company policy, as well as an administrative function by assisting case managers or substance abuse counselors with some clerical oriented duties. Candidate will be responsible for working with special needs clients, as well as conducting intakes, family intakes, entering data collection information and facilitating orientation and life skills sessions to residents.
Requirements
The successful applicant in this position must have a minimum one year of experience with in a human services or related field. Transferable experience is preferred. Applicant must possess effective written and verbal communication skills and an ability to interact appropriately with client. Basic computer skills are preferred. Candidate must have a valid driving license and be able to meet company-driving standards.
Education
High School Diploma or a GED.
