Cooper University Health Care, a leading provider of comprehensive health services, medical education, and clinical research in South Jersey, has an exceptional opportunity for an Infection Preventionist.

The Infection Preventionist carries out collection, analysis, and reporting of data on infections, provides consultation regarding potential infection issues and prevention strategies, investigates clusters/outbreaks, provides analysis and expertise for increased rates of infections, investigates potential exposures to communicable diseases and communicates to internal and external sources accordingly, provides infection prevention education to all employees and other healthcare providers, conducts environment of care rounds for inpatient areas as well as outpatient offices/clinics/facilities associated with Cooper; reports findings; facilitates correction of deficiencies/problems, reports designated diseases/data to NJDOH or other State agencies as required, applies Cooper core values and other duties as required.

Qualifications:

RN or BSMT; CIC or will be eligible within 2 years; CIC required within 4 years of hire.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in an acute care hospital.
Experience participating in performance improvement activities.
Proven communication skills.
Proven ability to establish & maintain excellent working relationships.

Qualifications:

BSN, or BSMT with SM and/or CIC
5 years in an acute care hospital and 5 years in Infection Prevention

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
