Our client in Camden is seeking a Research Assistant to support all activities associated with the execution of research plans including submissions, regular progress reports, answering technical questions, and organizing communication with project staff. The Research Assistant will also be responsible for administrative tasks and literature searches. Some overnight travel required. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and an interest in healthcare.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Assist with preparation of documentation and forms
Perform general topic and database searches
Collect and monitor paper and electronic surveys, administrative data, and research interviews
Maintain reports on progress of programs, studies, and/or projects
Assist in developing and recommending policies and procedures
Help with preparing presentation materials including PowerPoint slides, tables, and graphs
Assist with the preparation of research reports
Photocopying, emailing, sending mail, faxing, documenting project work and other administrative duties as assigned
Some overnight travel required

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required
Interest in healthcare and the use of technology to support clinical care
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Professional and ability to maintain confidentiality
Highly organized
Adept at multitasking and prioritizing
Ability to work independently with general supervision
Experience with NVivo preferred
Ability to use medical bibliographic retrieval program Reference Manager or End Note preferred
Familiar with IRB guidelines and regulations
Experience with clinical research is highly desirable
Must be able to travel
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
