Posting Summary The Human Resources Office at Rutgers University-Camden is seeking a dynamic and proactive HR Staff Associate to join the team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for human resources, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
The HR Staff Associate will report to the Assistant Director of Human Resources at Rutgers University-Camden and is responsible for providing front-line service to university employees and the public, processing a variety of time-sensitive documents related to employee onboarding, resolving or referring a variety of routine to complex human resource issues, compiling reports, procedures, maintaining logs, and assisting in department projects and initiatives.
The HR Staff Associate will assist with ongoing employee recognition programs and other events as required.
Additionally, the HR Staff Associate will provide direct administrative support to the Rutgers University-Camden HR Office in the daily operations of the HR function including but not limited to scheduling, file management, procurement functions and routine budget management.
The incumbent in this position will maintain positive relationships with internal campus partners as they are expected to work closely with multiple units on a regular basis to ensure the smooth operations of the Camden HR function.
The HR Staff Associate may also frequently act as a liaison with the University Human Resources and the OneSource Faculty & Staff Service Center to resolve employee issues and concerns.
As a member of the Rutgers Camden HR Team, the incumbent in this position will be expected to operate in a highly-sensitive environment and to maintain high levels of customer and client services, with professionalism and confidentiality.
Knowledge of best practices in topics of diversity and inclusion are a plus, as the incumbent will be expected to deliver service with consideration of these initiatives at all times.
