Short DescriptionDevelops, writes, manages, administers, and monitors all grant activities.
Interprets, explains, applies, and ensures compliance with guidelines & requirements of granting agents and with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
Prospecting of new grant opportunities while leading grant writing efforts including all Letters of Intent, concept notes, proposals, and required documentation for grant submission process.
Manage and track the grants process for both new and current grants, and partner with Finance, and other relevant Program and Administrative staff to ensure thorough and accurate record-keeping/reconciliation, & effective reporting on grant-related metrics.
Maintain calendar and establish project plans for grants and manage timelines and deliverables to meet deadlines for grant submissions and reporting requirements; keep relevant staff informed about upcoming deadlines and deliverables, thereby ensuring smooth completion of work responsibilities.
Provides financial oversight for administration of grant fundsCultivate and steward relationships with appropriate prospects and existing grantors across segmentsParticipate in data team meetings to obtain statistical information and outcome analytics for proposals and current grant reports.
Identify and develop strategies to optimize the grants administration processSupervise, hire, & train grants staffAssist with special projects, events and other duties as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
