Short Description Provide administrative and strategic leadership for the Cooper Outpatient Surgery Centers in Voorhees and Moorestown.
Responsible for overseeing operations as well as driving strategic vision, overall efficiency, service, and profitability of Surgical Services with the Institute Vice President and Medical Director of the Institute.
Supports the creation of key performance metric targets, improvement plans and reporting systems to ensure the delivery of high quality care.
Serve as a member of Cooper's Senior Leadership team, assisting with the achievement of Cooper's Surgical Services and corporate goals.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the department, the surgery centers, and the health system.
Experience Required 5
years progressive perioperative nursing experience with demonstrated leadership.
In-depth knowledge of strategic planning and business development.
Require demonstrated experience in Disease-Based Care, Hospital Operations, Nursing Management Experience working with budgets and financial management.
Education RequirementsMasters Degree required (MBA, MSN, and MHA, MA)If Masters Degree is non-nursing a BSN is required License/Certification RequirementsRegistered Nurse in NJSpecial RequirementsThe position will have operational and administrative oversight of Cooper University Healthcare's outpatient surgery centers in Voorhees and Moorestown.
The Cooper Voorhees Surgery Center is an established center with 4 ORs and 1 procedure room.
The Cooper Moorestown Surgery Center will be located within Cooper's newest ambulatory location, which will open later this year.
This center will have 6 Operating Rooms, 2 Procedure Rooms and 2 Interventional Suites.
