Summary:
Under direction of a supervisor in the Department of Public Safety, during an assigned tour of duty, provides assistance and protection to persons and property in and about university owned buildings, campus grounds, and parking areas; maintains orderly conditions throughout the campus, and takes the measures required to assure observance of university policies and state law; does related work as required.

This posting is being used to collect resumes to fill part-time, hourly vacancies at either the Glassboro or Camden campus.
Night, weekend, and holiday hours are required for this position.
Education Requirement:
Graduation from high school or vocational school or possession of an approved high school equivalent certificate.
License Requirement:
Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
