Job Description:
The Document/Configuration Control Support member is responsible for issuing and tracking all released electronic documentation to the Manufacturing Floor, including engineering drawings & parts lists, manufacturing processes & flowcharts, and test procedures.
Daily to weekly reports of newly released manufacturing documentation are provided to the Manufacturing Support Staff.
The role is also responsible for logging, filing, and tracking all non-electronic documents and software, including test equipment external hard drives & CDs containing software.
The role will maintain inventory of security tamper seals and update the proper databases accordingly as they are issued for use in production.
May provide support to submit Ariba orders for non-deliverable manufacturing material or equipment.
Generates weekly material shelf life reports to highlight upcoming expired manufacturing material.
Essential Functions:
Maintain control and issue of latest Manufacturing documents and revisions, including Manufacturing Drawings, Processes, and Test Procedures.
Ensure outdated Drawings, Processes, Test Procedures, and Standard Procedure documentation are returned, removed from the database and then properly discarded.
Maintain security tamper seal logs and update SIMS database.
Provide weekly shelf life reports for expiring material.
Provide status updates of new revisions of manufacturing documentation.
Navigate and utilize PLM system to locate documents for issue to production floor.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience U.
S.
Citizenship required Ability to attain and maintain a security clearance Preferred Additional Skills:
Minimum of 2 years experience in an Engineering Document Control environment Experience with electronic Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems Basic understanding of technical data packages Familiarity with data marking, formatting, and handling of documentation Good interpersonal and strong organizational skills Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
) and Adobe Acrobat (PDF) Recommended Skills Adobe Acrobat Coordinating Databases Electronics Engineering Filing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
