SUMMARYThe Senior Software Engineer is responsible for executing critical projects and system enhancements with the guidance of the IT Leads and the IT Manager.
They will also be contributing to day-to-day IT support of Subaru of America's Connected Vehicle systems.
The Senior Software Engineer is accountable to the full project life cycle including requirements analysis & validation, design, software development & unit testing.
Also responsible to support quality assurance testing, user acceptance testing, production deployment and support phases.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and test software components.
Create and update technical designs and interface documents.
Provide day to day production support and off hours support as required.
Ensure system implementations meet high quality standards and outstanding issues are prioritized and resolved.
Work with other IT teams, vendors, and consultants to ensure project goals and milestones are achieved.
As a technical expert, mentor offshore team members in best practices for system development.
Maintain a positive and productive work environment among the team.
Effectively present technical concepts and issues to both technical and functional team members.
Work with business partners and outside vendors to collect and confirm project business requirements.
Ensure work is completed on time and in accordance with our coding standards, conventions, and practices.
Participate in code reviews.
Work independently on long term projects, conduct meetings with stakeholders to see projects through.
Test and manage project deployments and production releases.
Maintain current knowledge of IT development methodology, architecture design, and technical standards.
Strong ability to analyze data, conduct research, think analytically and work in a diverse group situation REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES Senior Java developer with 6
years of solid experience in Java.
Experience with the following technologies:
JPA UNIX SQL Design patterns Spring framework Web service development Tomcat High level of organizational, written, and oral communication skills ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS Experience with the following technologies is desired but not required:
AWS Spring Boot Apache Ignite MyBatis Continuous Integration environment Exposure to Microservices Understanding of XML schema Exposure to AWS Cloud Automotive industry experience Agile software development Experience in working with offshore teams EDUCATION/
Experience:
4 Year college degree or equivalent experience.
8-10 years of relevant experienceTRAVEL REQUIRED:

ExemptSALARY RANGE:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $80500 - $114900 / year.
Individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
