Accounts Payable/Accounting Assistant

is seeking an Accounts Payable/Accounting Assistant to work in their new facility.
This individual will be a key part of the Accounting Team assisting the Controller in not just day to day activities, but in special projects that require an accounting foundation along with the ability to work with Excel at an intermediate level.
Primary Responsibility Process Accounts Payable timely and accurately Administer service billing for customer that is a government contractor Aid Controller in the production of financial reports Assist in monthly reconciliations Process payments from customers to APK Perform collection activities for customer accounts when needed All other duties as deemed necessary by management Qualifications and Education Requirements Associates Degree in accounting preferred, equivalent experience/certification will be accepted Intermediate skill level for Excel; be able to operate Microsoft Suite efficiently Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be able to perform mathematical equations easily (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and converting fractions to decimals) Job Requirements Must be able to work with professional and executive level employees Highly reliable and consistent in work and attendance Work Environment Primarily office environment, occasional warehouse This Job Is:
