Schneider Electric, the world's most sustainable company in the world in 2021, providing energy and automation digital solutions for efficiency and sustainability is looking for an Energy Transition Segment Manager to play a pivotal role in the development of new business development for the Process Automation (PA) Line of Business. The Process Automation, Segments Team brings industry domain expertise to drive sustainable growth in its focus on new segments and applications. The team seeks to strengthen its members with an experienced business leader in Crane Automation that will be in charge of growing the Process Automation Business in Steel Hoisting. This is an exciting role for an ambitious leader who wants to deliver an ambitious growth plan in a fast-growing US steel industry. The successful candidate is a well-rounded business leader, curious, self-driven, and highly motivated. Demonstrates business & application domain expertise in Metals Processing with a minimum of 10 years of work experience that includes Sales leader, new business development, and/or growing key accounts. Responsibilities:
Lead Process Automation the efforts to achieve its sustainable growth ambition in the Integrated Autonomous Crane System Originate, develop, maintain, and expand relationships with US Steel producers. The ability to leverage Schneider Electric Industry's Hoisting Business Center expertise in France implementing Local/Remote Execution Model, R&D Innovation and new Offers The ability of Schneider Electric's Steel Corporate Account V1 to cover Steel Majors in the USA The combination and collaboration of Industry Sales (End-User and Process Automation) to cover Steel Mills in Midwest and Southeast USA The opportunity for Process Automation to employ Project Delivery Resources to manage & support locally in the USA Existing DC installed base of electrical infrastructure and Drives - convert to AC Personally, engage to develop one key account in her/his geography. Requirements:
10-15 years' sales, marketing & leadership experience, preferably in MMM segment. Have a Bachelor's degree, (engineering preferred) or equivalent. Higher level degree (Masters, MBA, PhD) in engineering, finance, business administration is a plus. Analytical skill set with strong presentation skills and the ability to interact at any level within an organization. Strong financial and commercial acumen. Good experience in strategy development and implementation of such, ideally in both a start-up and existing environment. Experience working in a heavily matrixed environment with proven ability to influence and convince at a senior management level. Good customer engagement experience with the ability to translate customer needs into solution offers. Good understanding of the US MMM end-user markets Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. Willing to travel 50% of the time. Have a passion for sales and winning in a highly competitive market
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Business Development, SalesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
