This positions plays a vital role in one of Cooper's most committed and talented units. In the Clinical Educator II role for Oncology you will assume responsibility to ensure direct care staff are fully competent to provide the most acute care to critically ill patients. Responsibilities will include the coordination and evaluation of educational programs for the unit, directing and conducting new hire orientation, RN competencies, certifications for staff and new equipment in-servicing. The position will service both the inpatient and ambulatory locations.
For consideration you must possess a current NJ RN license in good standing and a MSN. In addition, a minimum of 3-5 years oncology experience is required combined with 2 years teaching experience. Other requirements include chemotherapy certifications and ONC certifications. The selected candidate will also have demonstrated confidence in interpersonal relationships, leadership qualities and effective communication skills so that they can function as a leader and innovator in the pursuit of improved nursing practice and quality patient care.
